Currently a student of PHD by department of Crop Production and Forestry Agricultural Research at University of Santiago de Compostela (USC - Spain). Participates of the research groups ";Restoration"; of the UFS, ";Biotechnology in Tropical Agroecosystems"; of Embrapa in Brazil, besides group ";Trees"; at USC in Spain. Has experience in the area of Forest Resources and Forest Engineering, with emphasis on Nature Conservation. Works specifically with molecular markers [ isoenzymes, RAPD and Microsatellite (SSR)] to themes of restoration of degraded areas, and characterization of populations of native species, and fruit, for biodiversity conservation. It also presents experience in seed technology involving physiological quality under conditions of water stress, heat and salt.
